About the Archives

The Official Record of a Forgotten Chicken Brand

The Chic-fil-a Archive is a nonpartisan digital research institute committed to the collection, authentication, and preservation of materials relating to the premodern identity of one of America’s most culturally significant fast food brands. We are recognized by several governing and nongoverning bodies for our work in culinary document retention, regional product archaeology, and mid-century brand orthography.

We are not affiliated with any living fast food chain.

We are affiliated with truth.

  • Certified Heritage Repository — Food Historians Council of the Southeastern United States (Unofficial Division)
  • Tier-2 Archive Status, as granted by the Greater Gulf Culinary Preservation Network
  • Founding Member, Coalition for the Study of Orthographic Brand Drift (CSOBD)
  • Recipient of the Golden Cloche – 2021 Honorary Citation in Fast Casual Ephemera

Location & Governance

Digitally headquartered in Hapeville, Georgia, the Archive operates in compliance with the Charter of Temporal Culinary Accuracy, as drafted in 1983 and never ratified.

All contributors undergo blindfolded sauce alignment testing prior to publication. Our servers are powered by dignity and vinegar-based sentimentality.

An era doesn’t end

The date is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Be ready to kick-the-K and eat chicken the right way.
